Grizz will have their hands full against Spurs. They are facing a team totally different from Clips(1 good player with a bad coach) and Okc(who got to adapt to playing without Westbrook in a few games). Spurs are a well oiled machine, with a great coach and a team of good shooters. How many of these shooters can Grizz stop with just Allen and Conley? Offensively, Grizz just mainly pound the paint, that's all they could do.

Gregg Popovich is 19-3 all-time in best-of-seven playoff series when his team wins Game 1.

Charles Barkley is the ultimate mush, hence his huge gambling losses. Don't ever trust his picks, just enjoy his halftime shenanigans.

19-3 all time means nothing when you consider those series include ones played against #7 or #8 seeds in round 1.

Do you get caught up in the "Barkley is a jackass" mindset or do you actually listen to what he says? Year after year he knows which teams are legit and which aren't. Mavs 2 years ago. Thunder last year. Grizz this year. And he said all season long that the clippers and Knicks were frauds.

If I could just go back to 2010 and fade every airbet LB has ever made since then, I'd be up a zillion units

                              No.

Ever heard of juice? Lakerboy's record when it's all said and done isn't that bad, people just make much more out of his losses than his wins so you would get that impression (example: NFL season. most people probably think he finished the season in the red given what a big deal people made about his superbowl bet and the packers "guarantee"). And even if he is slightly down, he's made so many picks that faders are probably down too when you take juice into account.

Fade everything over the past month and you'd be up significantly though, yeah.

What I cannot figure out is what the point would be? Why would anyone do it....even once? Attention? When they would have won they get to sit there and look at their empty account.....wouldn't that be enough to dissuade them from air betting in the first place?

The funny thing is, that it obviously does happen.....can somebody explain the psychology of it to me??

I realize all of the games were close without Russell but having him on the court doesn't automatically mean OKC would have won.

We should all root for Memphis because I really think they could expose some deficiencies the Heat have. I actually think Memphis could beat Miami.

Zebo and Gasol would do work.
I'm not really sure why I flip flopped and took Memphis after I picked the Spurs before the season....

It looks like Indiana is doing the dirty work against the Heat though.

Although I've been high on the Spurs all year, I'm really surprised the Spurs are up 3-0. With that said, it could easily be 2-1 Grizzlies.

I wouldn't say burial. He just hates the Spurs that's why he picked against them multiple times in round 1 against the Lakers.

I picked Memphis in this series although I've been a fan of Spurs basketball for a while.

Less than half the posters here actually bet real money. It's more a question of "why not?" Nobody takes this forum seriously anymore.

Season is almost over...the guy has yet to pick a correct series winner

                                                    ...yet he'll laugh at others.

Fade everything over the past month and you'd be up significantly though, yeah.
juice or no juice, he can't be hitting more than 30% since 2010, especially his multiple unit threads...he's down lots of "airjuice"

first he bet real money, then he lost it all, but he kept posting for attention because sbr is his social life. So airbetting at least gives him the false idea that he still has action, even if his sbr pride is the only thing actually on the line...
