CrazyLou's only pick this football weekend...
    Fading the Colts.

I know that comes as a huge surprise to all of you.

The difference in this game will be the fact that Indy cannot run the ball at all. Only chance they'd even have is Manning lined up in shotgun spreading 'em out and passing 95% of the game, running out of shotgun too. They won't be that aggressive, they'll try to gain balance and quickly fall into the hole and try to play catch-up the rest of the game.

San Diego 24, Indy 13, but the score is irrelevant unless you play totals: SD wins and decisively.

          Uhoh. Crazyl is picking SD.

Now I have to get off my Chargers pick.

Latest LT news not good, by the way.

I like SD's chances more with Sproles in.

LT is a bitch that's concerned about himself more than the thought of helping his team win a championship. Did you see his post game interview next to Rivers after their blowout win vs Denver? He mentioned "we'll see, I hope I can play" next week. As if the injury is that serious, does he not remember how Rivers played the playoffs last year with one leg?

The playoffs are a different animal than the regular season. Defense and ball control are more important in big games against solid teams. Regular season games don't punish weaknesses like playoff type games do, just look how Denver almost skated into the playoffs with no defense and the #9 RB on their depth chart. Too bad week 17 had to be a virtual playoff game, they might have snuck in if they'd faced the Browns, Cards or Titans who were basically playing for nothing.

There is a difference between 'running' back with leg injury then a quarterback that stands and throws the ball. If he can't make any cuts with a torn tendon then he knows its better off someone else doing his job.

Yes. LT needs to make sharp cuts, but he does act like a Ferrari that needs to be perfectly tuned. Pain is not necessarily a limiting factor, - depends on the mindset-, but with LT it always is. At this point I consider him out for the season.

LT, finally healthy, had his best game of the season against Denver. Very difficult for defense to stop him and then Sproles. A running back needs rest, and by alternating LT and Sproles the Chargers completely drained the Broncos D in the 2H. If it's just Sproles it's a different story.

With LT and Gates out for the Chargers I don't really like any NFL plays this weekend. May put some on the dogs on Sunday, but nothing stands out.
