Almost 4:1 odds on a May baseball game.

-170 on the run line (-1.5)
-105 on the -2.5 run line.

    Unreal.
    parlay it with something else.

max sherzer is almost as good as justin verlander in my book.

I just have the history of betting heavy MLs for the past 10 years. If you can't decipher the above you should not be gambling.

In other words, if you bet the ML of <=-300 every time since 2004...you will LOSE MONEY. Likewise <=-350, you will lose even more money. Not saying its a bad bet...pick your spots. Best of all...when you see <=-300...skip it!

Miguel Cabrera has that grand slam in every other ball park but Comerica

Miggy is the best batter we will see for a long time to come. But he plays in that pitchers park so it constrains his potential.
I'm a big Miguel Cabrera fan, dude has barry bonds like power. I hope the Tigers get a ring because it will shine Cabrera has a hitter more than what he's been given credit for.

Jose Veras, closer for the Astros. I have never seen a closer look so morbid after a save. That dude was asking God for forgiveness. He knew he got away with one and I think the team had to do some positive therapy to get him felling alright with himself afterwards.

Big ups to Brandon Barnes for chasing down that big fly. What a play! He pinch ran late and filled in. What an exciting finish.
Unfortunately for the Astros, we might not see too many more team highlights from them.

But the other prespective is that the Astros will do whatever they can to scratch a win and will do whatever they can to win a precious game. They really emptied out the bullpen and the bench to scratch win #11.
the Astos may not get win #22 till after the all star break

Cleveland had one of the greatest 4 man rotations of all time, that year they had three of the top 8 ERA leaders in the league.
Early Winn was a 23 game winner, Bob Feller was 13-3, and so on. That team was stacked !
The Indians were 111 and 43 in a 154 game season. 111 out of 154, unheard of in baseball.
Giants with maybe the exception of Mays were outclassed at every position.

Giants were supposed to be lucky to get maybe 1 win out of the best of 7.
                          Guess what?
3.5:1 dogs (Giants) swept the Indians 4-0.
My dad, who worked on the Military Base as an engineer and his engineering pals pooled together 3500 dollars and slammed the Indians.
They were baseball freaks, when baseball ruled America. No way the Indians lose that series everybody said to a man, no way.

Buh bye 3500 dollars, which in 1954 was major money
Do you remember the 1981 WS.?? Everyone said this series should not even be played. A's had 28 game winner Bob Welch, 20 game winner Dave Stewart and the ECK out of the pen with A 0.68 ERA.They Canseco,McGUIRE, R. Henderson......ect. All that Cincy had was a young Paul O Niel and Jose RIJOS..............Cincy won the Series 4-0.!!...it was a blood bath for many played the A's each game and doubled up............ect.
