Since 2004 home teams with a line of <=-300 are 116-44 (72.5%). However they have produced a -5.4% ROI and a +1.3% ROI on the fade. With a line of <=-350, home team are 25-10 (71.4%) and have produced a

Jose Veras, closer for the Astros. I have never seen a closer look so morbid after a save. That dude was asking God for forgiveness. He knew he got away with one and I think the team had to do some positive therapy to get him felling alright with himself afterwards.

Big ups to Brandon Barnes for chasing down that big fly. What a play! He pinch ran late and filled in. What an exciting finish.
Unfortunately for the Astros, we might not see too many more team highlights from them.

My dad gave up betting baseball when the 1954 Indians were -350 to beat the Willie Mays's Giants in the WS fall classic.
