    Blackjack table question....
I was at the MGM Grand last night in Detroit, I was standing behind my girl as she sat at the table and played. She turned 100 into 750 in an hour. The dealer then started to press a red button near where the chips are held. What does this shit do? Was she informing security to watch me as I tapped her chair in regards to hitting, doubling down, splitting, etc? What does it do?

    Never seen this happen

They may have thought you were counting. They do not care if you are just giving advice on how to play.

Pressing the red button means the dealer wants to go to the bathroom and he/she alerted the manager to relieve him/her.

Dealers don't care if you count. As long as you tip.

It's amazing....all the freakin money they win in these games and someone goes on a nice run once in awhile and they're made to feel like a criminal. I hate casinos.

all of you are wrong, casinos have things called player cards that track you, your given points for every hand you play, the dealer presses this button be4 every hand is dealt, been to like 6 casinos all the same in regards to always pressing the button
