My best in ratio was turning 100 into 1800. Betting 15-75 a hand. 15 early only until i got to around 300.

Ive doubled up multiple times with much, much bigger starting amounts betting about 20% of starting stack playing 2 hands at a time.

When i think back i dont know how i used to do it. When i was 18-19 i would go and play BJ for 2-6 hours. Now i cant stand to play it longer than 10 minutes. I just wanna buy in double up or lose and move on. Its purely a gamble standpoint and not an entertainment one.

Just thinking of this after last night bleh!

So i had a pretty bad week of gambling and just wanted to do some brainless gambling which i call blackjack. Everytime i play i try to double up and then leave.

I buy in for 4,000 and play 2 hands at 400 each by myself vs dealer. I start off pretty hot and in about 10 minutes i have 7200 on me. I put out the 2 400 bets knowing i have to clear the board 1 more time and im done.

Get dealt 12 and 12 vs a dealer 12! FML id rather have a 15 and 16 vs a dealer 10( not odds wise but decision wise). So i tell myself i dont want to stay on two 12's so i'll hit on both and hopefully break even.

Hit the first 12. I get a K. BUST
Hit the 2nd 12. Alright i got a 7 for 19.


after i busted the first 12 im like penetrate i know he has a 10 underneath its just my luck.

Dealer flips over J-2 hit is a 4. Hits again for a 5.

So lost 800 on that hands down to 6400. I end up losing everything. Oh well i didnt lose sleep over it but everytime i play blackjack i feel theres like that 1 penetrating hand that destroys you!

Can't play those cheap tables, only $25 or better. They have mid shoe entries that fukk up the cards and most players at the level have no fukking clue what they are doing. Sit at the anchor chair @ a $25 table w/ no mid shoe entry. Tell mother fukkers that are fukking up why they are doing so. Before the shoe is dealt I always talk to the players and see how they play before buying in.

Almost always followed by heavy drinking and gambling it back...

Blackjack is the most fun game when you're winning, but the way you lose in that game is easily the most painful way to lose in the casino. When you get the big edge plays, the losses are so painful.

Craps keeps me on a much more even keel, and I enjoy it much more.

I have lost more than I have won, however I just play super aggressive retarded(meaning size of bet for bankroll) for example I sit with $200 and bet $25/ hand . double up I bet $50/hand etc. Just giving my own experience as I have done alright a few times like this and never playing 100's of $5-10 hands.

I read somewhere (perhaps on here ?) a while ago about a guy who won small amounts every single day in a "non fixed" casino playing BJ for $1 per hand. If I recall correctly as soon as he won the target amount he quit for the day.

Turned $2k into $47k in about an hour and a half in Biloxi back in 2005. I was doing so well I was just too numb to be excited. Started at $200/hand and pressed up into the $2k - $3k range. One hand I remember was when I drew an 11 versus a dealer face card with a $2600 bet out. I doubled. Dealer turned a 10 for a 20, turned my face card over for 21, paid me $5200. I said I'd never get paid that much on one hand ever again and I'm pretty sure I'm right. Also the only time I ever had a single chip worth $25,000 in my possession. That hasn't happened again either. I used to hit it pretty hard but am over it for the most part.
