I do not think the books get beat here, even if Indiana wins. First off nobody is betting Indiana to cover 5.5, that is just too tough a cover and only idiots would bet that....and nobody is betting the ML because at -215 that is a terrible value bet as well.....

SO, IMO Vegas loses nothing when Indiana wins and collects from the public that hopped on NY's soul train.

There is a huge difference between the public BEING on Indiana and the public BETTING on Indiana. These lines get blurred and can be a common misconception....
