Who Bama play? I just looked at there schedule, they beat some teams in the bowl game like Georiga, yet look at what Georgia did they lost.

I think Utah may be the play to blow the BCS out of the water here.

Utah is a much more physical team than Hawaii was, thats like comparing apples and oranges.

I think Utah is live. Its unlikely, but they will be substantially more motivated than Bama is in this one, and they are built to play physical football. If a fumble or two goes their way, I wouldn't be shocked.

bama was like 11-2 ATS. I just find it hard to find any weakness that utah could actually take advantage of. I have a feeling it will be a two score game, i dont really see bama not completely dominating.

Id give them a better chance than Penn St had thats for sure. Alab came off that heart breaking loss to Florida. Sets up very well for Utah. Lets see how long it takes bama to figure out their dink, dunk and funk offense.

My only concern is the battle at the lines. I can't say with certainty that Utah won't get completely overpowered. I don't believe they will, but thats the hardest thing when it comes to comparing these non-BCS teams to BCS teams. Sometimes the teams like Bama just have flat out better athletes. Hawaii VS. Notre Dame, USC VS. Penn State, LSU VS. Georgia Tech, a few examples we saw of one team simply outclassing the other. That may be the case tomorrow.

But hopefully not! On the bright side, you'll know right away what you are in for.

As I have posted before, Alabama's offensive line far and away more physical and just better than Utah's DL.

I was looking at this match-up a few weeks ago and I don't even think Utah has one starter on that D-Line that weighs more than 260 pounds.

Its possible the emotional burst we are considering Utah for may allow them to have a strong 1st half, but as the game wears on they may wear down physically.

I think you may be on to something here. Maybe there best shot. If they lose the first half they will likely lose the whole game.

There it is, I will take the first half play. I hardly ever bet first halfs. Love second half, but new year try new things
