    DSI Bet Cancelled
I placed a $35 bet on the 1st period of the winter classic det/chi over at DSI. The line was ov 1.5 -110. When i logged back in at the end of the 1st period there was a message that it was a bad line and the wager was cancelled. I called and complained and the guy didnt care and didnt really give a good explanation. I also took det for the 1st period as a hedge. i basically didnt think that chicago would win the 1st period 1-0. I wanted either both wagers or none, but they onyl left the detroit wager. Is it unfair? is there anything i could do? its only $35, but its annoying and how do i know that they wont do this in the future for a bigger bet that i really care about.

That doesn't seem like a bad line at all.

i asked him what it should have been and he said ov 1.5 -140. I dont think it should have been cancelled. definitely not for $35. is DSI known to do this? should i be afraid that theyll do this again in the future?

I recently had a HT wager cancelled in college football with an accompanying "bad line" message, and in 6 years with the CRIS organization this was the first time it had ever happened (And we're talking literally thousands of wagers). Don't know if it means that they are more aggressively cancelling wagers, but just thought it was worth a mention.....

If the line is wrong it is wrong it doesn't matter what book you played it. Doesn't matter if iyou bet 35 or 3,500.

The line was wrong it doesn't count. I do see your point, however it has nothing to do with DSI.

            They are a professional book.

if youre asking me, i dont know. i only got message at the end of the first period, but i dont think that i logged in after placing wager until then. i agree that it doesnt matter if its 35 or 3500, but i would think that for 35 it would be worth it to make a customer happy. i also dont think that it was such a bad line that warrants having it cancelled. is there a such big difference between -110 and -140?

I hate to be a dick but every since the US gov shut down money movement, it's been a bookies world. They get the say in any and everything. I have been at DSI for a couple months now and don't enjoy my stay. They were very nice and easy to take my money, but since then they haven't been nice.

did they also cancel the over 5.5 -120 for the game?? how is over 1.5 1st -110 a bad line?

considering they have 30 cent lines for periods, that would make the under -120.

they probably had the o&u prices backwards meaning the over shouldve been -120 and the under -110, but still thats bullshit.

i was afraid they would since i had $100 on it. but they didnt(its already graded). i got the game at 5.5 -105.
