Clemson's punt return team is destroying the Nebraska coverage, but Clemson's offense has been unable to capitalize. Still scoreless.

Nebraska offense is proving how bad Big 12 defenses really are.

CJ Spiller is an impressive player, especially as a punt returner, but he has barely a 3.0 GPA after two years of college as a sociology major. That's just embarrassing.

Remember that hit on HELU JR? the quick out pass and the CLEMSON player hit him, and everybody jumped around like he made the most fantastic play? Well that was pass interference.

NEBRASKA just needs to get their offence going, and start tightening up the OL on the interior and that will alow HELU JR and LUCKY establish their running style in open space.

NEBRASKA should be able to win this game. But I agree with you CLEMSON should be up by at least 6 points. So that's telling you that CLEMSON is making mistakes, and if your watching the game. You will see where.

NEBRASKA just needs to do what I said on offence, and they should be able to win this game.

I've been watching the NHL game, it's been very good. This is a real intense rivalry, and lots of Red Wing fans made the trip to the game.

I went small on the Nebraska ML but flipping back and forth between this and the other bowls Clemson appears to be dominating the game. This pretty accurate? Haven't seen much of the game

NEBRASKA isn't playing their type of offence, and it's very frustrating. But we are still very capable of winning this game.

Problem with spread offenses: Nearly impossible to have rhythm after 3 weeks off. This has been killing the big 12 offenses thus far in bowl games. All the timing is gone from these offenses. I may pound Ole Miss tomorrow after another Big 12 offense struggle to find its timing.

Joe Ganz isn't in a spread offense!! It's simple 3 step dropback TE offset read. That INT happened because he preread the strongside, and then waited longer that he should have to thrown back to the WR. He wanted to throw behind the WR, and he did that and he was late, and that's why it wsa picked off.

Pelini is a poor coach as he should have known what to do with HELU JR and LUCKY.

more CBS gaffes:

"ball may have been tipped", when it went straight up in the air after it hit the defensive line. Really? May have been tipped? You ever seen a pass do that without being tipped?

They put a graphic up after Steinkuhler tipped a pass for an INT. Turnovers: Nebraska 1, Clemson 0.

Clemson just threw a pick. They don't have any turnovers? They actually each had one at the time. Then the next play was a pick run back a long way.

Recap of first half:

1)Nebraska's offense is mediocre. They put up big stats during the season because they played a lot of bad defenses. Clemson has a good all-around defense.

2)Clemson's special teams dominated Nebraska's special teams the entire half. The exceptions were that Clemson hit a 48 yard FG and Nebraska's kicker screwed up a 20 yard FG.

3)Cullen Harper is a terrible QB. The most egregious play was when he took a sack after the INT return. He had his RB wide open in the flat the entire play. Instead, he waits 5 seconds, doesn't even make an attempt to throw or even pump-fake, and then gets absolutely buried 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage. I'd bench him, because the backup couldn't be any worse than this.
