Nog is a much better boxer than Shogun, possibly the better overall striker, has better cardio, and has shown excellent takedown defence recently. If he can out-strike Shogun in 2005 when Shogun was actually putting some technique behind his striking, he can likely out-strike wild-hooks Shogun. Shogun hasn't had a good striking performance since the Machida fight, and before that, the Liddell fight. He certainly has the capability to show outstanding striking, but he simply never does. No idea how you could recommend a bet on NCAA Shogun at those odds.

Rashad is better than Hendo in literally every area, except maybe KO power.

Meh I don't know about that. Lil Nog has a good chin and Shogun hasn't shown much of anything as of late. And with a card with many other KO candidates I don't like the SHogun KOTN.

I do think Lil Nog has every bit of chance to win this.

I also think Hendo has a real good shot at winning. Rashad's back is against the wall and he needs a win, so I expect wrestling. But he must actually attempt better shots, perhaps he is losing a step of his explosiveness. If Rashad can get Hendo down right away he wins. If he doesn't, or simply decides to fight stupid, Hendo will KO him. Rashad is due for another stanky leg.
