John Daly suspended 6 months from PGA Tour for no reason
John Daly said Wednesday he has been suspended for six months by the PGA Tour for conduct that brought unwelcome publicity, including a night in a North Carolina jail to sober up.
WTF???
They lost Tiger to injury, now suspend the only other interesting character they've got b/c he was drunk at a Hooters, the PGA Tour must have almost no viewers now, hell why dont they just suspend Mickelson and see if they can eliminate all their viewers

I tell ya they need to let a woman or two play in PGA tourneys this year just for ratings/ticket sales, with their superstar out the product has lost tons of value, he really has become bigger than the PGA Tour, when Tiger leaves hes gotta take 50%+ of the spectators with him

I don't know, I have always like Daly because I can relate to alot of the things he has been through. He is definitely unique. There was a really good article on him in GOLF magazine several years ago, about the first time he drank, how he won the British open half cocked after drinking and putting in the locker room or whatever they call it. I think he stooped pretty low if he scratched his face up and blamed it on that woman which I thought from the beginning and I guess something has to be done now in regards to this latest. 6 mos is better than life, he might still have some heroics left.

He's half crazy dont get me wrong but he entertains the ppl, hes blown his talent which made him a two-time major winner but hes still a draw at tournaments b/c he's blue-collar in a game where 90% are trust fund babies, hell if he wasnt a pro golfer I figure hed be right here on SBR
