Soccer Asian Handicaps

Probably a silly question.
But when a team +0.50 I know that means that you have the win and draw in your favour.
If you back a team that is -0.50 then they have to win.

But why is there different odds for -0.25 and +0.25 and -0.75 and +0.75 etc?
If a team wins by one goal then aren't all the outcomes the same?

Not silly and actually quite confusing until someone explains. Quarter goals (-0.25, +0.75, -1.75 etc) are a combination of 2 handicaps. Eg. if you have a -0.25, what you are essentially betting on is half your stake on -0.5 and half your stake on 0.0. Therefore, if the game was a draw you would push on half of your stake and lose on the other half (push 0.0 stake and lose -0.5).
