What % Of Bets Do You Phone In?

I phone in less than 1% of my bets - usually when there is a problem and I'm having trouble with a site or connection problems.

Internet is the only way to play.

I'd say about around 15% to 20% of my bets are phoned in.

You call up, give them your account # and password, than tell them what you want. They then give you a final read back....and you confirm by telling them your acccount # and password again.

yeah, but JJ is an old soul, and a throw back...

he still has one foot squarely planted in the old school era, before computers and off-shore gambling..and in many many ways longs for those days again...to be a big shot on the corner......

If I were over 47 I wouldn't want to give up calling in the games on the phone from time to time and hamming it up with the guy on the other line

I remember when I played at Bowmans you pretty much HAD to call in your bets.

They had an online parlay card, but that was about it.

Funny thing is calling in your bets to some sites is annoying just because of the accents you have to deal with. I tend to place my larger wagers online.

I agree with Betplom. No sense in calling in a bet unless the site is down. Phoning in a +Ev bet (ie stale line) just brings the game to their attention. Betting online is the way to go.

Phone= 10% (bad since Im usually out and about and can't see line changes)
