The best is that JJ called it. The night Northwestern beat my Illini, he made a video gloating about the win and the money won. That same thread JJ predicted what will happen to Brockster. I feel for the lad. Keep your head up Brock! Betting might be your calling in life over anything else. Maybe it is time to reevaluate things and make a choice! SBR and betting or Family. What would JJ choose?

I'll give him credit, he does have a great name.. is there a cooler name than Brock Landers? it's like the all american boy name.. he sounds like a starting QB. That is one of the coolest names by far.. i'm sure he's gotten a few girls in his past just by saying his name..

to make you feel more at ease.. in my 46 career posts of making lines here at sbr, my record is 44-2 in the chalk winning. ONLY 2 times has the dog won...so I like your chances.

my friend, you will be wrong on this one.. trust me.. if it was anyone else, i might understand your point, but not brocker. trust me, i hope i am wrong, i dont want to see him hurt himself again, he's a good guy.. but brocker has a personality of an addictive character.. you can tell he has this problem by the way he posts, his vids (his eyes) he looks like he has an addictive personality.. (like gm guy) and he loves to give picks, like richie...

slammer???? lol... i am actually more worried that he might be dead before he goes to slammer. plus, even if he was in slammer, knowing brocker, he will find a way to get a computer in there and first thing he'll do, even before checking email or checking lines.. he will go type sbr dat com and post..

Im telling u dude brock is different than your avg attention whores like patty and dac. He takes losses really harder than anyone ive seen. And this is a guy that wants everyone to know and believe hes a winner at gambling which is why he wouldnt admit to losing as mich as he did unless its true. I dont believe he lost that much but hes definately lost his entire bankroll.

We wont see him for at least a month and even longer before he posts picks cause hes a guy that bets real money unlike patty and dac. I mean thise two morons go 0-10 all the time yet act like they didnt lose a penny, cause they dont have any money to bet.

Someone should contact brocks family and make sure he hasnt jumped.

when a gambler has a hold of any money, they will gamble it before they pay debts, or rent or even food. it's so sad.. so if brocker gets a hold of 100 bucks and has a choice of taking it and paying a bill, he'll gamble with it..

a gambling disease is no different than alcoholism.. yes, if he got a 200 gift card, he'd go post up at thegreek.. 100%. gamblers dont think what if i lose the 200, in brocks mind, he will think that he will turn the 200 into 2000 and be out of a hole.. the last thing on a gamblers mind is he will lose the 200.

and as for humiliation, gamblers dont care about any humiliation, even if family bailed them out. I am friends with a guy that owes me 200..this guy is a sick gambler.. i was with him last week when he got a 300 dollar xmas bonus from work.. So i told him, great, now you can pay me the full 200 cause you never even expected this 300... he tells me exactly what i expected.. nicky.. nicky, i told you, no need to worry, you'll get your money, just relax, i need this money.. i need to buy a few things.. so he takes money, buys a 30 dollars sushi dinner, buys a nice shirt, a pair of jeans, and take the other 200 and bets it all on a hockey game that lost and now had NOTHING for me..

that's gamblers for you.. if they can get a hold of any cash, it's going straight to gambling and not pay debts.. and i am just hoping brock doesn't make 1200 bucks a month at work, takes that 1200 and tries to parlay it into 4k and think all his problems will be over, cause that's where it will re start again..

gambling is a fukkin sickness.

If I lose my bankroll, be it $10,000 or $100, a $200 gift card would be all I needed to get my gambling fix in motion. I have sat many a nights trying to figure out a way to turn nominal money into large sums. After I convince myself I can, 99% of the time I gamble and lose it all quickly. There have been times I have had a $50 bet that I have rooted for as hard as when I have had a $500 bet.

wasn't going to post again, and this has nothing to do with gambling, but want to set some shit straight...

Lost 15K in a matter of 3 weeks and it was stupifying. My old man bailed me out for the last time, the guy is still hoarse since sunday and i about killed him and my mom. If i ever bet again may god strike me down as i deserve to be run over by a bus for the hell i've put my family through. You guys saw a good run from July to early december here...since then its been pure hell. I'll not relive it again.

I got a 2nd job lined up to pay the old man back as fast as possible, my regular job already goes to pay my mortgage AND his from previous bailouts. Boys its not pretty. i pay back my debts though, always have, but to be in this position is sick, i should be living in a mansion right now.

Have not placed a bet since December 28th 2008, and that date will be etched in stone in my book.

To all of those who have shown genuine care and concern, god bless you, and to those otherwise, god be with you too.

Not here to expouse gambling pro's or con's, just to set the record straight. Will be selling blood plasma too as a means to pay back the old man, thats cash money and what the hell, it costs me nothing but an hour of time on a saturday morning.

i may check PM's for a little while and see what you all have to say, but my career as a gambler especially and as a poster are complete, i gambled enough in the past 13 years for 10 lives worth, the thrill is long gone.
