What steps do I need to tke to start an online poker site?

I know the basics, aquire a domain find a good country to host it and generate a market, and find my segment or niche. With that being said are there poker skins that you are able to buy or lease, and where can I find these? Any ones help or input would be appreciated. I have some interested paties when it comes to paying for everything so I need to know the proper steps to take. Also I would be interested in possibly sponsoring some initial players and affiliates of course. And sbr of course!

I think you still have a bit of research to do before you can buy anything. I would try and get a job with a few to see how the backend works, and e-mail all the sites you know of asking them for advice. Ultimate poker, Absolute, Cake, etc.

That should increase your number of questions, which is always a good thing when doing a startup.

Thanks for the input and some good ideas when it comes to asking as many questions as possible. So that being said, any sites need a customer service rep. I have business and marketing as well as a customer service background. Any more input from any one who knows the business would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Assuming that you are talking about a legal shill, you are correct. Some hourly employees would be needed to keep games running in early stages. Hopefully my marketing will pay off and keep this to a minimum. Than possibly these players can continue employment in a different part of the organization if they chose to do so. I really need to find operating software though, the easy parts are already done, but when it comes to getting software these people make it difficult for a good reason.
