This morning is was Oregon +3.

I went to a nearby sports bar to watch the end of the Humanitarian Bowl and first half of the Holiday, and bartender (also a bettor, most of them are) tells me the line on game went to a pick.

He didn't know why, and the crawl on ESPN said nothing, no injuries, suspensions etc

That's pretty rare that a game would move from 3 to a pick the day of the game with no injury etc. Just really heavy late bucks on the Ducks?

It actually closed at -1 Oregon at some places. Most of the public saw how horrible Mizzou was last night agaist pathetic Big Ten and realized Okie St. is overrated.

You don't usually see line movements that big (and not moving at at something like 14 or 20 etc, but a low key, 3. And less).

pavy, I can't see the public moving the line that big just because they think the Big 12 is overrated.

Must have been some heavy money from the well heeled sharps coming in.

Or, the big bettors in Vegas for the New Year, getting pie-eyed and pulling out their wads to lay on the Ducks. I've observed that Oregon grads tend to be big bettors, and fanatical for their team.

(Maybe it was Dan Fouts in Vegas, betting his alma mater big)

Like I said Big 12 is overrated. Grab your Florida -3 tickets tonight before the public moves the line to -4 or better.

congrats on your day Pavy. I got on Oreg 2nd half to try and middle my OK st +1 game line so I ended up splitting. I already had a Florida future cocked and ready:

I got my Florida - 3 ticket last night. At some books it was already -3 -115 or 120. It will very likely be -3.5 on Wed. Won't be surprsed to see if at 4 by the weekend, and close next Thursday at 5 or more.

I thought Oregon was an overlay at +125 ML. The line adjusted itself to where it should have been all along, around Pick
