Earlier this year there was a regular poster, very smart guy, Canadian I think with the moniker Big Bollocks.

Then he reported he had hepatitis, and was never heard from again. That doesn't kill you, does it?

Yes , you can die from it. But, most recover , I think. There are several types and various degrees of severity.
