    Broncos lost, somebody's gain.

This guy can go just about anywhere after this. I think the Lions will pay this guy anything, after going 0-16 this season. His two Superbowl champions and 138-86 NFL record will bring Fans roaring back for any team lucky enough to get him.

If I had the choice of where to coach Detroit Michigan is the last place I would want to post up. Place is dirty as hell and he can land a squad with a lot more assets that the Lions have right now....

His Super Bowls (Thanks Elway) are blinding you. He's an OK coach but clearly needs a break, what he's done (or more accurately- hasn't done) in Denver lately is inexcusable. He has gotten a pass on name recognition in years past but blowing the division with a 3 game lead over the Chargers and 3 to go is just nuts.

I watched Elway under Reeves, Phillips and Shanahan. Elway would retire a loser like Marino if Shanahan didn't coach in Denver, and Denver would still be searching for it's first Superbowl Championship. Both guys were equally responsible for the other succeeding. Like Jordan & Pippen, neither won sh1t without the other.

Either way Shanahan is going to be better off. He's going to be welcome with open arms anywhere and the hype he's going to bring is going to be unbelievable. Something washed up Coaches don't do.

He will be coaching the Browns next year IMO.
