Both teams up 3-1 in their series. I don't see either losing at home to these teams. Someone talk me out of it

and its like -230. not worth it. you should just take knicks ml in a parlay and leave a spot open for a later date

Well, if you give Houston a 35% chance of winning, you should be maxing that bet out unless your max bet is a significant % of your BR.
Breakeven at most shops is 19%

If this game was played 100 times, Houston wins 20 you make money if you bet their current ML each time, they win 19 you push, 18 you lose.

looks like a winner to me. new york is safer though like others have mentioned. They have an offense that can beat you on any given night with jump shots. The Celtics offense is putrid. Unless the Knicks go 0-30 from downtown they are winning tomorrows game.

Average ML bet for Houston is around +420.
At that number, you bet $100 and get back $520.
100/520=.19 or 19%
Meaning you would need to win that bet 19% of the time to break even. You win more than 19% of the time and you profit, less and you lose money.
You said you expect Houston to win 35% of the time which would give you quite an edge. One worthy of a max bet for your BR. Maybe 5 units or 5% of your BR. Not sure how you bet.
Either way, Good luck.

Personally think there is more value betting both dogs ML. JR Smith gave Boston some bulletin board material, Houston might have a shot too, don't think I would want to be needing both of these, and there most likely won't be any decent opportunities to get out in the plus after only one game.

Stater, to make any of that applicable, you have to know your edge. If you can't figure that out, all the previous info is worthless.
