Something may be fishy here, but CS Fullerton opened up at -10.5 against CS Northridge, proceeded to get 65% of the bets, and the LINE WENT DOWN TO -4 !!! Whoa. That's some monstrous betting by some sharps... or something funky is going on perhaps here?

has to be someone not playing.
The line doesn't move like that due to betting. Books move it much more slowly.

That only the sharps know about? The public is still heavily on CS Fullerton.
Can't decide if I play CS Northridge or if the line's moved so much you're actually getting screwed only getting four points? Thoughts?

the line was not moved by money. Books simply do not move it that much that quickly.
I would not touch this game if I were you.

Sometimes that's the way it bounces, but I still think not playing it was the right call.
Even LT would say not to play it. You don't play something at +4 after it was +10.5, because the line lost its value.
That's what SBR Odds has for the Pinnacle line history.
Yeah, you're right. If it was Fullerton kicking a**, I'd be praising myself for the cautiousness. Yeah, what you posted is nutty -- we need some inside dope. Anyway, just stinks because I need winners right now. Account is so low I'm scratching and clawing with an NHL parlay tonight.

I disagree. You have to think about it from the books point of view. They would be leaving themselves WIDE OPEN for a huge buy back if they weren't sure. They don't screw themselves like that.

this one is a stunner, though.
I'd love to know what was going on.
10.5 favorite drops to 4 point favorite, and the 3-7 underdog goes on the road and beats the 6-6 favorite by 26 points!

Well you guys were right not to play it after it hit +5. I was fortunate enough to jump in at +9.5. This was going to be one of my official plays before the monster line move sucked out all of the value.

Agreed.
If people were banging out Northridge and kept betting them at +6 and +5, getting +4 wasn't going to matter either.

This is very common when you have two horrible teams playing each other for the first conference game. Linesmakers have no clue about who is the worst team. With so many games going on the lesser leagues are not getting good lines.

Triple try I show that the game opened at Utep -6.5 and closed at Utep -8...72% on Utep so no reverse move on that one.
