I think it's great that you're spearheading the call to action at SBR, JJ. You hit the nail on the head, onthewhat didn't bash anyone, all he did was explain how simply the issues that cropped up could've been dealt with.

I understand Lou's concerns about the Excel files, but with Excel able to save documents into HTML and the tech staff on hand, it would've been child's play to execute onthewhat's suggestions in viewable web pages allowing everyone to audit the grading process. Not everything on the web has to be interactive, alphabetizing things has worked for hundreds of years.

Thanks for recognizing that action needs to be taken, JJ. SBR is the paragon of adaptability in its market niche, and to remain there it needs to be able to seperate personal feelings from honest critiques of performance. I'm not saying that the Team Contest was a total failure, but the issues that cropped up were so easy to overcome that it left a sour taste in some mouths. This acknowledgement of yours on the matter is the proper first step to ensuring it doesn't happen again.

Oh, sorry I didn't get your call, you have to remember I don't punch a clock so it's not uncommon for me to sleep in to 9 or 10 in the morning. Try me again this afternoon, my entrepreneur spirit is in high drive today and we should be making money.

Im glad he is complaining. Well I wish he didnt have anything to complain about. But if the SBR'ers did their job he wouldnt. Im with him and glad he cares enough to tell us to pull our head out in kind of a nice way.
