#2Based on what I saw down the stretch in Game 3, I'd agree on Houston.
I can't take Atlanta anymore. I just can't. If Josh Smith himself guaranteed they'd somehow win to my face, I still wouldn't trust him and then I'd tell him to kiss my ass for all of the money his chickenshit schizo team has cost me through the years.Comment -

#5I think it's OKC or no play. Houston hasn't put a single game together. When they got close, they missed FT's and made unforced turnovers, Harden may not be a 100%, they're coming off a huge let down game and facing a 3-0 deficit in which they know they'll eventually lose. All this and OKC has the best scorer and closer in the game.
And as I mentioned to NoCo in another thread, OKC really wants to sweep the rockets and end it on their court.
OKC 3x play for me but I'll wait as I think it may be a PK by game time or even Houston favoredComment -

#6On one hand, I hate betting Houston. They're an incomplete, schizo team with a shitty coach. Kind of like Atlanta, ironically enough.Originally posted by The KrakenI think it's OKC or no play. On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if OKC drops this game -- not because they don't care, but because they're still adjusting to life post-Westbrook, and they won't have the same kind of "let's prove ourselves/us against the world" mentality or intensity they did in the first game without him. There's a reason why that angle works so well in the NBA (backing a team in the first game without its star).Comment -

#11Vyom what's your response to Houston going 30/108 on 3-pt fg in the series so far, something like a 28 3-pt%, and they are a team that relies on 3's? How do you believe that will change in game 4, I'm discouraged about betting against that trend; given this evidence seems like the better option is to grab a team like the Thunder at a relatively good value (-122). Esp one led by Durant, Harden had some especially poor possessions that game, and Asik is relatively soft inside. I'd just like to know your rationale, ref influence, or game like Boston had today? I.E. KD goes cold?Originally posted by vyomguyBoth will win tomorrow.Comment -

#13I see, so good home dog value, I've been surprised by the outcome of this series I definitely thought the Rockets would have grabbed 1 game with how they competed w/ the Thunder down the stretch so far... anyway thanks.Originally posted by vyomguylaw of averages.Comment -

#14Agreed on both.
Thunder know the series is over, they'll be content with a 1-1 split on Houston's court.
Still not sold on the Pacers on the road.Comment -

#17Thanks. I hammered both, but if I may comment:Originally posted by vyomguyBoth will win tomorrow.
Hawks (-2): I took this one, the cover pay is higher than the moneyline.
Rockets (ML) I should have taken the +1.5 instead, because the difference is slight.
But hey, it's the exciting Rockets. The highest scoring team in the league that have time and time again came back from a huge deficit.
I pounded on your Celtics pick last time, and won.
So I hope that this will once again win, or at least go 1-1.
Good Luck to all.

#30Houston can't play any harder than they have the last 3 games. Don't act like they've been out there at 80%, they've been busting their asses. And they're down 3-0 stillOriginally posted by konckOK so rule out the Hawks they are doomed loser has them.

ive tried and tried, apparently to no avail, to tell everyone how bad Houston is. Or more specifically, how outclassed they are in this series, with or without Westbrook.
Expect OKC to be the energized team tonight. They're focused and ready to close this out.Comment -
