james, you misunderstood. he did say 12 pts but he said he will give n'western 12 confidence pts in the espn bowl mania contest, he did not say he'll take 12 pts in a betting situation, herbie doesnt talk point spreads and certainly doesnt give out picks

Thanks, bowls is where I do my damage. We will have more ops for some cash in the next several days, good luck the rest of the way. I'm on NW as well. I also think they have a chance to win. I will put a small bet on the ML too.

okay, maybe i was the one who misheard, but whats funny is that a few hrs before college football live on espn aired and herbie said this phrase, i said in my post about n'western plus the pts that they could easily win straight up
