#37I don't understand all this trash talk about bwin. Me and my friends are using bwin for surebetting/arbitrage and we never had any kind of problems* with bwin. In my opinion they are very trustworthy! (says the guy who freaked out on Pinnacle!)
Just be patient, bwin is a huge company and they might be slow sometimes. But using obscene language will never help you.
* well, not 100% true. A friend had a winning bet changed. He just sent an email to bwin with a link to the official scoreboard and after some days the money was credited his account.
Making mistakes is human. Big companys = lots of customers = more mistakes. Shit happens.Comment -

#39Using a bad language have nothing to do with it, this only about the money. Money is all it about in sport betting and casino, people don't sweat playing Black Jack or betting on sports and risk their money, only not to be paid back in the end because of language issue.
Bwin should pay what it owes after closing the account, nobody needs their favour with so many other possibilities everywhere and no scam, how can they not pay winning bets after closing account. I haven't seen yet 1 post, where their customer would say: I lost 150$ with bwin, my account was closed for any reason and 150$ I lost in the previous bet was returned to me.
Don't mix butter with shit, Bwin after closing account has a clear material interest in it!Comment -

#42It might make most sense, then, to wait for Justin to speak to BWin before you continue to post. Or, if you insist on posting so much about BWin, it would really help if you could keep it in your new thread.
I hope it gets resolved, and I really think you should look into using an e-wallet of some sort (Moneybookers, Neteller, etc.) so that you have instant records of your deposits to bookies. That proof should have been all it would have taken here to help you get the funds you claim.Comment -

#44I am Israeli citizen, spend 6 months in Israel 6 months in Germany and other countries.
In Israel I play only with Ladbrokes, never sended them 1 e-mail in 1 year, they are more than happy to accept German credit cards from me when I login from Israel, I am ready to provide Justin my password to Ladbrokes so you can show Bwin that cards are mine, also from Commerzbank, only different I provided to Bwin. I have 6 credit cards from Commerzbank, 3 ****, 3 ********** and one AMEX.
In Germany, when I login to Ladbrokes, they say this is prohibited jurisdiction and I can't use my account from here.
Justin, can I send you my login to Ladbrokes, maybe it will help you to prove that me is me and cards are in my name and I am who I am.Comment -

Just to understand your last post, which seems to shed a lot of light on things: Are you saying that Ladbrokes takes the view that gambling is illegal from Germany? Or that using your credit card to gamble is illegal in Germany?
Might the same issue also have rendered your deposit and gambling with BWin unlawful - hence the transaction not one that could be legally "authorised"? Might that not be why BWin did not recognise your deposit from a German credit card whilst you were in Germany? If they class you as a German resident - did you give an address in Germany - then the issue seems much clearer.
I don't know anything about the legality of gambling in Germany (physical presence, restrictions on residents, etc.), but it would seem that if Ladbrokes imposes restrictions, so might BWin, and that those restrictions might in fact be valid.Comment -

#46Or maybe the online sportsbook needs a licence to accept deposits and bets from German residents, and that's the problem?
You would know much better than me, but surely the valid restriction imposed by Ladbrokes - which you're not swearing, etc. about - might have something to do with what's happened with BWin?Comment -

#47You must make a research on the internet about jurisdictions, not blindly protecting Bwin. I will spend another 5 minute on you if you are lazy to search on Google for things of interest to you. Besides it is my garbage with Bwin, why you look into it?
Go to this link https://media.itsfogo.com/media/sccw...q1_2009_EN.pdf , after text starts below they show where they operate and GERMANY is there, besides their still have offshore license in Gibraltar. I am not sure if you know what is offshore. Ladbrokes also has additional license in Gibraltar and Ladbrokes accept credit cards from Germany, but Germany restricts access to Ladbrokes from Germany. After login, Ladbrokes anounces on the screen: That you try to login from prohibited jurisdiction. So you are logged in but can't use Ladbrokes menu.
This is because Ladbrokes is also licensed in UK, Bwin is only licensed in Gibraltar that allows them to take bets even from hell.
I wish you success with them, make money, break the bank!Comment -

#48I feel NO PITY for those that lose money with these not too reputable books.
We, as a global gambling community need to support ONLY THE BOOKS THAT HAVE PROVEN themselves over the years.
Otherwise, we are only contributing to spawning of more of these shady books.
I actually get pissed off at those that join them, because they are the direct causes of these books popping up all over.
If they just did some research on the net, they'll know who the solid books are.
So, STOP getting enticed by the sign up bonuses and go with the good books!!
My books- Matchbook, 5Dimes, Bet Jamaica, Pinnacle( non USA). Never failed to get any payouts in 7+ years.
Come on, support only the books that have been supporting us in the past!Comment -

#49wrong statistics
I just noticed that they also show wrong statistics. I don't place many bets there. I sometimes check out the tennis statistics because I support Roger Federer. He's playing against Arnaud Clement tomorrow and the head to head statistics state 4:0 for Federer. And thus the rates are 1.01 vs. 11.00.
The problem here: Federer actually played 9x against Clement and Clement won 3 of them! Therefore, the rates shouldn't be that low for Federer, given that he already lost 3x against Clement, had a pneumonia recently and dropped out of the last 3 tournaments within the first 3 rounds..
Such kind of statistics makes you think it's a sure win to bet on Federer, when in reality it's not.Comment
