Cincy @ Memphis
First things first. Lets continue this CBB December run, as the bookies are now running for the hills! Got one more for Monday.
Now, to the game and I just have one question. What the ****? That is what I ask myself when I look at this line. I mean this is no great Memphis team. This team is a bunch of street ballers. They have no one to go to in the clutch, and definitely get exposed on the fact they don't have anyone that can knock down outside shots with any kind of consistancy. Just take the overtime with Georgetown. When that came down to having to make keys baskets this team couldn't even come close to making an outside shot. They can only beat you by getting second chance points. And that is where we are going to back up the truck.
Cincy is also a team that likes to play the boards. This team is scappy and will not be affraid to get physical. I will take this generous amount of points for ONE HUGE reason. And that is free throw line. Fact is Memphis can't put anyone away from the line. If this game comes down to a situation where the score is right on the line, I will take the points. Memphis will miss the free throws and Cincy will cover this game. Bottom line: This is just too many points to give a team that is not a solid shooting team and aweful from the line. Bearcats are getting no credit here tonight.
Memphis has already lost to 2 Big East opponents who have size (Syracuse and Georgetown). I wouldn't be suprised to see the Bearcats win this one outright as well.
Prove me wrong Memphis, prove me wrong! I highly doubt they can.
