i think the stoppage was fair
and no they wouldn't let him fight period with that kind of an injury - anytime you have something twisted like that, you're done.

I thought Chael was still covering up and moving to deflect the elbows/punches. Seemed a little quick. The overall reffing in general was pretty terrible all night.

It was quick but an extra 10 seconds of Sonnen eating elbows wouldn't have made a difference in the end. He was completely helpless.

Sonnen was stuck in a shitty position. My friend who watched it with us said it best, giving him 10 more seconds would have just let him take enough brain damage that nobody could question the stoppage. Maybe a tiny bit early but still good.
