Pats fan here, but good for Miami. They deserved it. Pats were going nowhere anyways. They would have beaten Baltimore and gotten drilled by the Steelers (if their QB is healthy).

I don't like the Baltimore-Miami matchup. That is going to be one dull playoff game.

Wow, you guys are handling it well -- I'm friggin' pissed off!!!! I mean, nothing against Miami, I'm impressed with their turnaround... but this Pats team just flat-out deserved to go. 11-5 is very solid and they overcame a RECORD number of injuries to key starters!!! So it's just a real shame...

I know, we can't complain when we've done so much winning, but I feel bad for this particular '08 team, they were so gutty and always manned up when they needed to. I would have been very curious to see how far they could have gone. Our D has holes but the offense was rolling BIG TIME.

I'm a Steeler fan, so I really dont care much for the Pats, but a team that goes 11-5 should be in their. Especially when other teams that only win 9 games get to go....maybe even a team with 8 wins, if the Chargers pull it off tonight. Thats bullshit to me.

Sux to be officially excluded from the playoffs after a 11-5 record. The worst part is, they will have to watch an 9-7 or 8-8 Afc west undeserving team get in.

If NE would have made the playoffs, I dont think anybody would want to play them. There defense is awesome. Its a shame they did not make it.

Are you serious? The NFL schedule is done by prior year's record and what other division you play that year. They just played the crap NFC west, but so did Miami.
