Question about baseball series bets...

I've never done these before. I thought I would look into them, figured it might take away some of the variance.

Does anyone play these?

Anyway, I was just reading about how it works, and it's only based on the first three games of the series? So, if your team is playing a four-game series, the fourth game doesn't count? What happens if one of the first three games rains out, I'm guessing the fourth game would then count?

I was actually hoping to bet a four-game series this weekend (Angels), and if they went 2-2, I would break even. Apparently that's not the case.

I tend to bet 3 game series more than the 4 .. Idk why just what i prefer for myself

Four-game series are basically the same as the three-game series, though, as far as betting goes.

I'm just surprised they do it this way.

What happens if in a three-game series, someone wins the first game, and the next two games get rained out? Does the series go by just the first game?

I'll have to read some other sites. See if I can get to the bottom of it.

"Regular season series wagers have action as long as a minimum of two games are completed. Only the first three games of any series count for wagering purposes. Once a team wins two games in a series, the series will be graded at that time."

Okay, so at least two games have to get played.

I wanted to pound the Angels in Seattle, they always beat them there. The problem is Felix is pitching one game, and even though the Angels usually beat him, it doesn't seem very worthwhile if only three of the games count. I was hoping all four would count. I'm guessing you were aware only the first three count?
