Why do you guys feel the need to change the original rules? I posted them a few days ago and they worked just fine in this thread for almost a year.We never had any problems in this thread till some guys quit following the rules. If you change them now, whats to say 6 months from now, somone else wants to change them again? Leave whats not broken alone, the original rules worked long before most of the current players ever even thought of posting a play, JMO.

So far over 115 individuals have participated at least 1 time in the best bet thread. We get anywhere between 20-30 participants each day. I think it has been a success.

I'd like to thank Diogee, LK1, and Turnip for helping out. Its not the easiest thing to grade and it does take some time.

Moving on, I will be implementing a few changes with baseball just around the corner....

1) Grading will not just be win/loss but I will also include UNITS won/lost along with your record.

For example: A -186 loser will be reflected as 0-1 -1.86 and a +186 winner will be reflected as 1-0 +1.86.

2) From here on out I will need you to post your juice along with the play.

So that means you should be posting Cavs -1 -108 or Nuggets +3 -110, etc.

If you do NOT leave the juice along with your play I will grade it as -110. So if you post Cavs -1 and they lose, your grade will be 0-1 -1.10

3) Moneyline Favorites will be allowed for BASEBALL, SOCCER, TENNIS and HOCKEY; But not for Basketball and Football. For those sports you will have to use ATS plays. If you don't I will not grade it.

Moneyline underdogs are always allowed for every sport and the units won will be reflected in your record.

4) SECOND HALF PLAYS are NOT allowed.

5) Please try to post ROTATION numbers as well.

6) If you don't list pitchers, I will grade your play as an action wager.
