World Series of Poker - Final Table PayPerView
So how many here ordered the WSOP Final Table PPV? Looks like Illusion did, as he is giving hourly updates in the Poker Forum. Anyone else?

Not sure I could spend the $20 on a PPV to watch a poker game. Because it will be on ESPN2 a few days after this WSOP is over. But I know we have some die hard poker players/fans.

It's really cool watching it live although it does get boring at times. They are also getting perspectives from such pros as Doyle and Raymer. Those guys were calling hands out like nothing and that's pretty cool. BTW, ESPN won't broadcast the Main Event until October I believe.

I just heard August 22nd on this final table PPV. So I dont know where you heard October, that would of been a long time to delay the taped viewing of it.

The whole WS was boring and not even close.

Gold was in command at the halfway point of the tourney and never looked back

Kind of amazing to control a huge tourney like this like he did

I bought it at the last minute and comentary alone made it worth the $25 in my opinion... I was grinding away at poker online the whole time so just had it opened on one my computers and mainly listened and occasionally watched when someone big was happening... Last year I listened to cardplayer broadcast in its entireity and, for me, that was just as good...

My only complaint was that I wished they would have showed more of the older WSOPs instead of 2004 and 2005 crap, that is still on tv all the time anyhow, during the dinner break...

I'm to the point where I can't stand watching the tourneys on tv anymore, since you miss so many hands and it is edited so much.. Personally, about the only poker I watch anymore on tv is the High Stakes Poker on GSN....

Anyhow, overall, I didn't see it as a bad investment as definently got my $25 of entertainment out of it... Not a big fan of PPV much either (the only other package I care enough about to buy is ESPN college football game plan) but if you're into poker I would defiently recomend it next year...

Honestly that was one of the best things I have ever watched! Awesome show!! I just realized the edited shows suck. Watching it live was incredible and I will pay the
$25 next year if I can't get it free.

With so many people saying "they got their money worth" I bet you they raise the price next year.
