with their wide receiver corp I don't doubt that they could score 30 plus easy.....PSU always plays so conservative all year especially in important games, but they pull out all the stops and ADD to the play book for bowl games... there are about 5 guys on their staff that could be head coaches at D1 schools, when they have weeks to prepare they are tough to beat

I would take PSU over 18 against ANYBODY except OSU. They are a great offensive team with plenty of playmakers.

Whoa, a little overrating of the PSU program. They would not score 30+ easily. And other than Tom Bradley, who is qualified to be a head coach?

did USC play any top 100 offenses outside of Ohio State and Virginia? and they did shut down OSU, but that was the pre-prior era...and without beanie wells...

no doubt that USC has a great and fast defense...i just don't think it has been tested like it will be vs PSU, that puts as much speed on the field on offense as anyone out there... I think their top 3 receivers are all in the top 5 of PSU's ALL-TIME wr stats...yards, tds, rec's....Derrick Williams really turned it on at the end of the year

not saying they Will easily....saying they COULD....its a very explosive and potent offensive...put them in the big 12 and they score 50+ a game... just saying under 18 is not a lock at all...dangerous bet.

Ron Vanderlinden-former HEAD COACH of Maryland University 4 years, Defensive coordinator at Northwestern 5 years


now there are another handful of guys that have either been with PSU for like 20 years like larry johnson sr... Lj's dad...and just never chose to take another job, or young guys like Mcqueary, who will be head coach somewhere soon IF they want...


this PSU staff has forgotten more football then most ncaa staffs know... hundreds of years of experience...
