Perkins is actually a very, very good defensive player. OKC went through the best big men in the league in last years playoffs partly because of his D. They beat LAlakers with Pau and Andrew Bynum and then they beat the Grizzlies with Z-bo and Marc Gasol and then they beat the Spurs with Duncan and Splitter. He played a ton of minutes in those games and kept them off the boards and away from the rim. He did an amazing job on those guys.

WIth that said, he could be the worst offensive player in the NBA.
