    NHL Phoenix (Nicky Santoro)
I like this spot in Arizona however have a tuff time rationalizes -150 when I got them yesterday for EV (was beat as it closed at 115). You think being at home and playoff thoughts warrant this number?

Phoenix will definitely win with Labarbera in net for the Kings...

I'd bet the over instead though.

Sure thing. If I know only 2 things, its philosophy picks and Kings hockey. I know this team inside and out.

We call Jason Labarbera "Jason LOLbarbera", because he is so laughably bad. With Ersberg out, he became starter by default, and played so poorly that Jonathan Quick virtually took the spot from him in the interim. But due to the back-to-backer, LOLbarbera will be in net tonight.

He is dreadfully bad, people don't realize the Kings are a pretty decent team this year with sound defense, they've just had this clown in net way too many games. 5 - 12 on the season compared to Ersberg's 8 - 7.

LOLBarbera + the fact that the Kings can't beat the Coyotes to save their life + @Phoenix, there is value in the ML, even at a chalky -150.

Just wrote this up in my Kings thread:

The Phoenix Curse continued last night, and out in Phoenix with the Kings' worst goaltender in net, there really isn't any reason to believe that the Kings will win. I thought they might split the series with a good effort at home, but they came out flat and Preissing proved he is a healthy scratch on an inexperienced defensive team for a reason.

After being completely shut down by Bryzgalov, a goalie the Kings always have trouble with, they should be able to get on the scoreboard tonight against Tellqvist. But with Labarbera in net as well as Phoenix's knack for stomping the Kings, I see them scoring their share of goals. Don't like the -150, but the break even point at that number is 60%, and I do think Phoenix wins this game 6+ times out of 10.

        Coyotes win 4 - 3

        Plays:
        Coyotes ML (-150) (* out of ***)
        Kings/Coyotes OVER 5.5 (-105) (** out of ***)

          Sorry ITH...

Once I saw Quick and Bryzgalov back in net, I knew you were in trouble. Very annoying for bettors when we get the wrong information on that.
