Itchy, it was an older gentleman who was keeping the clock.
Pretty hard lick even for a player in pads....much less old guy in street cloths.

Thanks WorkHorse, know the guy's gonna be hurting this morning.
They never replayed it on the stadium tv's so we could all see it better.

The announced attendence for the game was 78,315, which is just a few hundred short of last year's attendance of 78,526. It wasn't long ago where Alabama was only averaging about 30,000 people for its A-Day Game, but since the arrival of Nick Saban, attendence has skyrocketed. Saturday's game was the seventh consecutive with an attendance of more than 78,000, with three of those game having more than 91,000 in attendance.
A record crowd for an A-Day game was in 2011 , when 92,311 piled into Bryant-Denny Stadium. There is no admission to the game, so it is a chance for fans who might not be able to come to games in the fall to see their favorite team in a game situation.

9 turnovers. Heard it was pretty sloppy. Offense takes a step back this season. Going to very tough to replace those horses on the O-line and RB.

Yep it was pretty sloppy early. Blake Simms the backup QB tossed some dumb shots/floaters after scrambling and those sorts of things. Saban was pretty pissed out there. A few players switching positions this season but I was watching Chris Black at WR and the secondary in general...looked pretty good overall but still work to do. High standard as always. going for 4 of 5 rings in as many years and you've seen it raise up the last 2 years....lose one game and suddenly everyone calls them an overhyped team then they crush whoever it is in the title game and suddenly then its a fluke game and then back to all the same again until next August. Its a good drama.

Was either
A) People showed up like a Wake to view the dying program one last time
or
B) It was an Auburn fan's hard on....only game where Auburn was guaranteed to beat a team this season

I would still lay the points vs va tech first game. Va Tech's offense might be worse than it was last year. If that's even possible.

I recorded the game and finally watched it today. McCarron looked like shit! INT after INT. Yeldon can only get Bama so far, so they need to put in a lot more practice. I have all the faith in the world in Saban, though. My takeaways: McCarron once again proved that the media overrates him (everyone knows his flaws are covered up by Bama's RB's), Yeldon is an animal, Bama's DB's are super sick, and Morris looks like he has the potential to be a legit QB to replace McCarron/McCryin.
