How much bandwidth does watching streaming games take up?
I have a limit of 20GB downloading/month. Other than streaming sports, I don't usually download anything other than the automatic downloads u get while surfing the net.

If I watch around one full game /day streaming, would I go over my 20 GB limit? How many GBs or MBs is watching a 2.5 or 3 hour game? Anyone have any numbers?

Don't hold it against me if I'm wrong. But I have a 50gb monthly limit and I watch atleast 20+ full games a month along with plenty of other things on the web. You SHOULD be ok, I don't know the actual amount of bandwidth it will take up but I know most streams are from 50-200kb a second but how that equates to the download cap is your guess. Good Luck!

damn... at 200kb/s, that would mean a 3 hour game is around 2.16 GBs. NOT good. which would put me at over 3x the limit for the month.

at 50kb/s that's around 540mb, which is reasonable.

      thanks.

while on the same subject, anyone know how much listening to online sportscasts/radio would take up?

        Audio takes just peanuts.

Note, 700MB per hour gives you very decent picture quality. Sometimes, while playing streaming video, you can opt for a low bandwidth version. The picture quality is going to suffer but this will allow you to stay within your downloading limits.
