"The Iowa State Patrol says a semi driver from Montana was heading westbound in the slow lane, when he attempted to make a U-turn in the median crossover. He turned into the path of another semi.
The two semis crashed, crossed the median, and ended up across both lanes of eastbound traffic. A car heading eastbound then crashed into that first semi.
No one was hurt, but it did create quite a mess. The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says traffic was backed up so long just to clear those two semis."
First of all why would a semi think they could do a you turn thru the median? I mean seriously... There is an exit not more than 2 miles away from there...Keep in mind its snowing/sleet/ice rain all forcasted. The medians are not plowed and have 1-2 feet of snow.
I do not understand
