My wife is a statistician and research scientist....she helps me cap the games.

Sports betting is not an accepted form of gambling in USA

I would hide it and more exciting that way.

Kids are too young to know.
Wife knows, but the amount/bet is not known.
Inlaws and my mother both know. Both of them ask my wife our myself how the weekend is going when we talk to them on Sundays.
All the guys at work know, due to the fact that I take their action. I'm very open to talking about it, cause I make a load of money off of it. If I was always losing then I'd never bring it up.

yeah my friends and coworkers know im an addict, but my parents have no idea. If they knew the details about the excessive casino trips, and wagering close to 1200$ a week when im not even 21 yet they would freak no matter how much i was making. They basically only know i play poker at friends from time to time as a hobby.

Yeah James Im the same way. Only roomates know that I gamble on sports. My parents or friends dont even know. Im 20 years old and still debating whether to quit gambling all together now that i can still get out before I get more attached to it or to keep playing.

I actually want to tell them what I do so I dont have to keep it hidden or in secrecy. Anyone remember the first time they told their parents or family members?

My parents started letting me have poker games in the garage when I was 15 so when i started betting sports offshore it wasn't a big deal. I just showed them I had way more money in my bank account than I had in my offshore accounts. Only thing that pisses them off is they still get all my junk mail from the books. If you are gambling with money that you can afford to lose then it shouldn't be a problem, but if it's the other way around then walk away.

Yeah they know I play poker at friends and have people over to play poker. Im a recreational better just looking to get some extra spending money. Not making a living off this. I only intend on depositing small money into the offshore account and hope to build it up. Heck me and my mom go to the casino couple times a year. Just dont know how they will re-act.

I don't hide it much. My girlfriend, who is going to be my wife doesn't like it at all so I don't really talk to her about it. She probably knows when she watches games with me when I fly off the handle on a turnover at the end of a game. All my family and friends know, like most everyone else I don't really care who knows.
