Its been a long broke road back here, some setbacks also.
6 weeks ago I had an inside tip that a MLB pitcher was going to tank the game and just walk guys and throw fastballs that were like 82mph. We figured he would get nailed so bet the over 9 for 20,000. He was in on the fix but the problem was the balls were hit hard but right at guys for 7 innings. He got ripped but only gave up 3 runs and 14 hits, DP's killed us. The final was 5-3.
It just goes to show even in a fixed game you can lose.

Why didn’t you bet against him instead of the over?

1.) Maybe the Over was more profitable if the team was a favorite.
2.) Maybe he could have pitched like an ass the whole game, but as a favorite team still pull off the victory.

If you have a pitcher in on a fix the best thing is to take the over, he could give up 8 runs but his team could score 10. This guy needed cash and we knew this through our club house people but it did not cash. We had a huge edge but that is how it goes and $20,000 down the drain.
