I'm a sophomore at a major state university and a member of a fraternity with 129 active members. So many of us watch sports religiously and I know I could get some action going. We're always watching sports and I know guys that like to gamble. Now I'm no expert, I understand the very basics of how bookmaking works. I think if I got a few questions answered and got a system down I might be able to start taking action and learn-as-I-go. Maybe I can give my fraternity brothers someone to bet with and make some money in the process. I wana make this a small thing, 20 dollar max bets.
-How do I keep everything balanced... let's say four people are betting on St. Louis for every one on Chicago, how do I prevent this?
-I have 1k on hand, is that enough for any emergency I might see?
-I have just ordered James Jeffries "Book on Bookies", is there any other literature I might find useful?
-Any other tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
