Losing Gallo was actually not as bad as originally thought. Chandler actually filled that voided better by also being a better defender than Gallanari. Rookie Evan Fournier is also playing great, now that he's taking up Gallo minutes. Lawson looks fully healthy so they won't miss a beat in the playoffs. I think this team can make it to the Western Conference Finals, making it a good hedging situation.

If the Nuggets steal 1 road win, they virtually guarantee to win at home. I'm banking on that Denver will get past the Warriors and the Spurs which are two very beatable teams. Then I can consider my hedging option in the Western conference finals.

I dont even think the Spurs get past the 1st round, which makes this bet even better. Lakers would be dead in the water vs Denver, not a good matchup at all for LAL.
