This is a golden opportunity to bet on the Lakers. Pau and Dwight finally get their chance to shine with ballhog Kobe gone. Not to mention Kobe's terrible defense away from the ball.

The thought of Gasol and Howard together as the center point of the team is downright SCARY. They've been overlooked all year because of the selfish Kobe show, now they get the chance to be the heroes that guide the Lakers to the playoffs, at home, against a struggling Spurs team. And we get free points with Kobe being out.

As for motivation, say what you want, but a team fighting for their season is going to be more motivated than a team going for a #1 seed. PERIOD
