    BOOKS Saved Christmas!
    Thank God for bookstores.

Waited until the last minute and malls were packed, was out of ideas... then went to the bookstore.

Everyone has hobbies/interests. Just buy them books on stuff that interest them! Its so simple. Even if they don't read the books, they can't blame you for getting them a thoughtful gift.

What'd you guys do for your folks?

I agree. I floundered around New York fighting the waves of tourists and stuck up locals, went to William and Sonoma, The Container Store, Banana Republic, a menswear store, Best Buy and ended up buying 80% of my gifts at good old Barnes and Noble.

Bought my mom some of her perfume that she wears. Bought my stepfather a DVD set on the WWII (he's a war Buff).

Books aren't bad but I have exhausted that option already a couple years ago.

Books are thoughtless gifts and cheap gift, better off not giving anything.

I now realize where I get my Degeneracy from.

since my fam is all growns up... i'm the baby... we haven't been buying gifts for one another for a long time...we traditionally buy one $30 gift and do a dirty santa/christmas swap/greedy christmas thing... and trade the presents around..

but these year we are just playing LCR game...put some money in and winner takes all!!!

I get off at 2:00 today, going straight to the mall and buy everyone
gift cards,,,fukk it. Let them decide what they want. This might be thoughtless but fukk it. I'd rather a giftcard than a stupid lookin shirt/sweater that I'll never wear.
