Going to watch some high school B-Ball
The KOB(King of the Bluegrass) tourney championship is tonight at Fairdale HS. Last night Seattle Franklin who's ranked #19 in the nation beat Miami Coral Reef, and J-Town who is ranked 3rd in Ky. beat Manual who is ranked 5th, plus for J-Town it was the first game for a star player who had transferred from Manual over the summer.
Tonight Seattle Franklin lead by UofL signee Peyton Siva will take on J-Town.
I want to see how good this 5-11 guard from Seattle is. i want to see him do good, but i'm pulling for the home state team.
i should get there in time to catch the 2nd half of the 3rd place game between Miami Coral Reef and Manual.

Siva will get a lot of minutes next year for Louisville, judging by how bad the guards have played. Kid looks like a stud to me

I just back back from the Santa Barbara Invitational that was at Santa Barbara High School. It was cool to see some kids play and it was real competitive. Had a great time!

Hood is ranked like #32 in the class of 09, no other players in Kentucky are ranked in the top 150. What are you smokin kid?

my bad, Kentucky doesnt have shit in the 09 class. For some reason I was thinking the '10 class. Anyways Hood is overrated out of his ass. My friend's ex girlfriend knew him pretty well and I've seen him play a few times. He plays shitty competition compared to other top players. He reminds a lot of Scotty Hopson except for he's way behind Hopson athletically. Hood might be a pretty good player by his junior year, but he's not anything special IMO. Kid is a little on the slow side for 6'6 and can't handle the basketball that well. Upside about Hood is he seems to know the game very well and has PASSION (I'm looking at you Scotty Hopson!). By the way, his only other offers were Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi and Western Kentucky. Duke, Florida, and Georgia Tech all showed interest but didnt offer. Not saying he's a bad prospect, but he's definately overrated at 36 according to Scout in the 09 class
