seriously, thats his game have to choose your spots to charge and I dont think this was one of them. Going after a Greinke who looks twelve and is 170 tops I dont care that is has him at 190 he is not that big and he has some anxiety issues. Quentin will now get some balls going at his face from either other teams I suspect because it seems like in the baseball world this was a very unpopular move especially with an ace getting knocked out for a while

When you watch the replay in slow motion.

It was not a very hard shot as it originally appeared to be. I think Greinke is related to Kevin Ware

            Quentin is a bitch.

Clown decides to drop his suspension appeal immediately prior to starting a 3 game series at Dodger Stadium. What a snatch.

San Diego Padres slugger Carlos Quentin on Sunday dropped his appeal and began serving an eight-game suspension for rushing the mound and inciting a brawl in which Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke broke his left collarbone.

Carlos will charge a 170 pounder, but knowing he'd have to come to the plate at Dodger Stadium tonight.......with Bills on the mound, Kemp ready to knock him out, and thousands of angry fans...........Carlos runs like a bitch.

You want me to find the quotes from Kershaw? The ones where he stated that Quentin should do the right thing and not appeal his suspension

Look at you making up your own fukking quotes from Kershaw like a douche ("do the right thing"). Kershaw's quote was as follows:

“If he’s smart, he’ll take the suspension,” Kershaw said after Friday’s game vs. the D-backs. “Eight games is not nearly enough. For what he did, he should be OK with that.”

The FACT the Carlos played the weekend games against the Rockies and THEN decides to accept the ban speaks volumes. Guy is a BITCH.

I never liked the guy. Lazy and slow. But the right thing was done by not appealing.

It is Jackie Robinson day. Did you really want to see it ruined by those stupid Dodger fans throwing crap at him? Did you want to see another fight on Robinson day in baseball?

Fact is Quenten had one pinch hit appearance on Saturday. Did not play an inning in the field all weekend

Why are you ignoring your made up Kershaw quote?

Carlos the bitch played FRIDAY & SATURDAY against the Rockies (I don't give a shit that he only had one plate appears on Saturday.....he had four at bats on Friday). The FACT is.........the bitch decided to accept his ban prior to having to showing his bitch as mug in Dodger Stadium.

See the way the rules in baseball go is if you appeal, then you have to have a hearing in New York. Which in this case would have delayed his suspension for awhile. California is almost 3,000 miles away from New York.

Kershaw said take the suspension, which translates into do not appeal. Saying it was not long enough, and Quenten should be ok with that also translates into do not appeal

LOL.........it's a 4 1/2 hour plane ride. His per game salary is almost $60,000. The 8 game suspension is going to cost him nearly a half million bucks. You really think he's worried about a single days delay by flying to N.Y. when it could save him a few hundred grand? Not to mention being available to his team?

Stop making excuses for the bitch. He played it out for a few days and now has gone in to hiding just in time.

You obviously don't get that "Jackie Robinson Day" is bigger than the Dodgers winning/losing tonight.

I never said I wanted there to be a fight tonight. Last thing I'd actually want is great baseball player like Kemp to break his hand punching a mediocre player like Quentin. My point was/is that Quentin bitched out.

you realize greinke(as well as all pitchers) are aware of the risk of a mound charging after they hit someone, especially given their history...greinke is just soft/messed with someone too big for his own good.

You repeatedly said the guy was a biatch for not showing up tonight. Said he went into hiding, just in time? In time for what? Now you say you did not want to see a fight.

Everyone knows that if Quenten appeared at Dodgers stadium tonight it would be payback time. Not sure that's what the Jackie Robinson family in attendance would want to observe.

Crap would be thrown on the field, and chaos. They have more trips to Dodgers stadium let them settle it then. Kershaw's comments were correct. Good that big dummy listened and did not appeal

He is a bitch for not showing up. He did go in to hiding just in time. That certainly doesn't mean that there would be a fight nor that I wanted there to be a fight. I wanted him to face the music..........stand in there and wonder if you're going to be hit.........listen to the crowd give him shit.........get booed like mad......etc. He's pussin out. Mattingly already said they didn't plan on retaliation........that they are baseball players not MMA fighters. It's no coincidence that he played Friday & Saturday and then decided to accpet his suspension.

Its nice that you now back off your comments about him playing all weekend. Which of course he didn't come close to doing.

Its not who you play, its when you play them. Padres are playing like the worst team in baseball.

Los Angeles sweeps this series and can bury them. They lose 2 of the 3, then its on them. Kershaw is not a dummy. He knows the distraction was removed by accepting the suspension, and they can now focus on sweeping this series
