Just from scanning some of the join dates in here I'm not sure if you guys would remember THA_DIESEL but I faded him. Even started a thread to do it I think in '09 or '10? Anyone remember that guy? He was honestly Brock x 100 but he would often make what seemed like good bets and then the weirdest, flukiest shit would happen to see his bet lose (and me win). People would go in his threads posting like they were crying if they saw him on the same side as them because you knew even if it were the Heat vs a high school team, somehow every member of Miami would break their ankles so that high school team would win. I've never seen anything like him before or after but he was always a great sport... totally funny guy and had the best Shaq avatars. Wish he'd come back

I was about to post about this guy. He had to be the most unlucky sleprock to ever live. His record had to be worst than 14-47 because I use to fade the shit out of him all the way to the bank. I remember one time he lost like 17 games in a row and was like 2-30. I lived on here just to see him post a few minutes before a game. Hell, he'd post sometimes a few minutes after the game started and the team he was on would be up big and somehow they would crumble right after he posted. I think the books must have gotten rid of him here because he was a fukking atm.

Dam I miss that guy.

about 3 years ago there was this guy by the handle of DacBietViet. Guy would post tickets a couple minutes before game time. He went like 14-47 over his lifetime. I could never believe it.

He was a money machine as well. It would be full on hilarity with him because the team would look to cover easily and then something crazy would happen (guy fouling for no reason, technical foul out of nowhere, team resting starters, etc.). You couldn't make the type of shit up that would happen with his bets. It would usually end up losing by 1/2 a point or something real close.

DacVietBiet's plays wouldn't even be close to covering. The team he would back would be buried in the 1st quarter. He was on another level than anyone I've ever seen. He truly was a mush.

It not only defied odds, it defied logic. No way in hell can someone lose so many times but day after day the kid would consistently lose games. If I was ever on the same side, I would end up loading up on the other side just because. He had to lose like 90% of the time. He's the one guy I can truly say that I would blindly fade every pick. I didn't even care who the team or the sport. He was a fukking money machine for me. Then he started begging and that probably led to him getting banned. I think he was a nail technician. His stories, drama, crying racism, etc., was priceless. Hell I sent him points and even paypal'd him. The kid was a legend. Lang had nothing on this kid.

All the locks and "we got dis mang" will never be forgotten.

Oh Dac. I remember when he came back under another name and started to post tennis plays after matches had started. People were giving him a hard time because his player was always dominating the match whereas I'd be frantically scrambling to hedge if I was on the same side. I honestly don't think he won one of those tennis bets which is pretty remarkable. Players probably spent a fortune on sports psychs wondering why they were suddenly choking in easy matches when really it was all due to a nail tech in Michigan.

LOL omg Shari thanks for reminding me about that clown. Every bet he posted would seem to burn up in flames. Something unreal always happened and people literally cried and buried their own graves when they saw he was on the same side.

As far as people I faded. Brahmabull/diesel/dacbiet/brock/jj/almost anyone who posts in the nhl section

a good rule of thumb is to look hard into a play when some random poster posts a title like "Lakers HAVE to be the play......right?"

Another good tip is to avoid looking at anything I ever post unless you somehow know the side I am on. I am rarely active anymore though

Brock is a legendary fade, no question about it. But boy, did he get a lot of love on those SBR bash videos last year. He had a following and some guys still call him Brock Star.

JJ wasn't a consistent enough fade. He didn't always lose, he just didn't win very much. He was down tens of thousands on the spread sheet, but he could go on a winning streak every once in a while.
