I have not seen any of these three. But the reviews on all of them have been mediocre at best. 7 Pounds has been called the most sacchrine induced coma film in our lifetime.

Holiday Inn and The Thin Man are two that Queen Bee and I watch each and every year at Christmas. Not necessarily pure xmas movies, but they are our favorite holiday movies to watch. Probably won't rate with many here since they're 60-70+ years old and don't have enough explosions and bouncing boobs for the ADD generation to enjoy.

Hey Chi, stick with that Avatar. If I had a picture to superimpose on a body, I would go as Dwight.

Since the original post is more about new releases than holiday-themed movies, I will respond in that vein:
I am tentatively looking forward to The Spirit which, I believe, comes out Christmas day. From the advertising, it has a lot of the flavor of Sin City - which I loved.
But I'll wait and see a few reviews first.
I will go see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button pretty soon, I imagine.
I haven't been out to the theatre for a few weeks. Most recent movies seen:
Burn After Reading. I liked it a lot. I am a big Coen Brothers fan. Predictably, it is very quirky and won't be to everyone's taste. Either you like the Coen Brothers or you don't. (Actually, this is just out on DVD so maybe it has been more than a few weeks since I saw it in the theatre. Time flies.)
Changeling. Beautifully done movie but just such a downer. You've heard of feel-good movies. This is a feel-bad movie. Seriously though - just beautifully done from a cinematic standpoint.
