Pudgy guy on the far left leans back thinking it's a walk, then looks as surprised as anyone when he sees him calling it a strike.

Was a good call. Pitch crossed the outside corner then dropped to oblivion. Was the momentum of the cutter that pulled AJ's glove down.
Count was full anyway. Fukkin pitch was too close to take. Ump also didn't like being shown up by Zobrist taking off for 1st before he made his call.
All in all....a good call.

the only time that ball crossed home plate is when the catcher was carrying it.

“I saw the pitch and, of course I don’t have the chance to do it again, but if I did, I wouldn’t call that pitch a strike,” Foster said after the game. “Joe was not violent. Joe was very professional. He was frustrated and I understand. He acted probably the best he can under that situation.”

Just appears that way due to the violent drop. May very well be one of the best cutters ever thrown.

joe nathan disagrees. his body language clearly indicates he thought it was a walk and then he says "wow" like he can't believe it.

Of course it wasn't a fukkin strike. It wasn't even close. As I was watching the game, I actually "LOL'd" like the kids say when the call was made.
I'm just having a little fun. Calls go both ways all game. That being said, this was a pretty bad one.

Yes, I truly thought that was a strike. I also was totally serious when I said that was one of the greatest pitches ever thrown.
You've epically buried me here.
Ghost account imminent.
