Koncker got 13th place in a SBR poker tourney and spent an additional 2 hours rolling over the points so he could then risk them in the SBR casino for a CHANCE to win a $50 gift card.

he went pro in dec 2012 but was able to buy stuff from the store before

they implemented the pro program in 2011 i believe so all of those previous purchases you had to be a pro for

In unrelated news, I just won 10 points in blackjack in 1 minute. With some simple extrapolation and math, this means being an SBR pro will get me up to $190,000 this year...clearly pays to be a pro!

Walmart & pizza cards are cool, i guess. Having enough points behind you to renew without having to deposit $200 into a sponsor account is always nice too.
I'm sure I don't speak for everyone but, my only initiative right now, for earning points is to get free play wagers from sponsor books.
Maybe I roll it over & I've got a BR again?

I have limited points knowledge but you inevitably have to liquidate your points into cash, right?
I still haven't visited the SBR store.

Being pro ain't what it used to be. The inflation is almost 100% in the 3 years since the program started on most items at the store. Add to that most contests, trivia and poker are awarding FP or points that need to be rolled over before they can be used. But the biggest drawback is no more sportbook cash which is what a website that promotes sports gambling needs to be giving out as prizes. And don't believe SBR's excuse that they were taken off because of legal reasons. That was the carrot that was dangled to sign up new posters on books and have them on their sheets for the kickbacks from books on losses. Once they have you on their sheets there is no need to keep giving you freebies and don't care if you don't renew.

It used to be really good for sportsbookcash no doubt I made some scores but we dont have that anymore
SBR is a past time for me a hobby ....still fun though sometimes frustrating but still fun.
