Retails stores are giving all kinds of deals if you can find the right one. It seems that books are getting tighter.

i live in CT and foxwoods is down 161 million this year. Me personally have been gambling more simply because i have more money, the economy doesnt really effect the rich

It's not good at all for gaming. Las Vegas Sands, which is a publicly traded company recently diluted the sh1t out of their existing shareholders with another stock offering. They needed cash desperately. The gaming sector stocks are all in the tank.

Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods up in my neck of the woods are laying off employees left and right. Mohegan just announced today it is offering some employees buy out packages. They have always hired a lot of people on a year by year basis. Also Connecticut has come to depend on the tax revenue from the slots so the state budjet is billions in the red now.

When money gets tight most people can live without a trip to the casino.
