How does Rod Marinelli keep his job?
Seriously 10-37 as head coach, first 0-15 and soon to be first winless NFL team in history, this guy hired his fukin son-in-law as the defensive coordinator and they have the league's worst defense by far and he refuses to make a change, somehow the Lions owner doesn't fire him, is Marinelli connected or somethin? Is he blackmailing the owner? I don't get it, how could they do any worse, the Lions could hire an actual lion to be their head coach and would probably improve and would at least get some media attention. I hate Al Davis but fuk this guy is like the opposite of Al Davis he refuses to fire shit when there is no indication that Marinelli is anything but the absolute worst head coach along with his son-in-law being the worst defensive coordinator in the NFL

FIRE THAT ASS BEFORE THE LIONS GO 0-32! (though I have to admit the ML opponent strategy has been the only bets that could accurately be described as "locks" in the NFL and I would miss that if Marinelli and co. were fired)

It's out of the coaches hands when a team loses 42-7.

The team is pure trash. The Jets coach should be fired after a couple very poor decisions today.

Tsop c'mon I'm talkin about more than just this game, yes the team sucks but when your opponent is scoring on every poss you gotta fire the defensive coordinator and hire some free agents this is just ridiculous, it looks like they hired a NCAA Div 2 college team and put em in NFL jerseys, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD on their opps first 6 poss today and that's WITHOUT Reggie Bush, it was just unreal, even if it is the players he's gotta be held partly responsible like Kiffin at Oakland, somebody's gotta get blamed and if your team goes 0-16 and 10-38 lifetime, u have to lose your job as head coach just to show the public that you're not accepting winless seasons

He's done a terrible job but Vince Lambeau couldn't win with that team.

Well if any team ever deserved the #1 draft pick it's the Lions, holy shit their defense is bad, I mean really its just as bad as imaginable, I have to believe if the D coordinator wasn't Marinelli's son-in-law he'd surely have been fired halfway through the season, as jrich said you could suit up some SBR degens and not do any worse than giving up a TD on every poss
